Graduated Beads
I have infected something’s under my arm. What is it?
Since my freshman year of college(I am now graduating), I occasionally get semi-painful lumps in my underarms. They usually feel no bigger than a bead, and when I squeeze them, pus and blood are released. They have decreased in frequency til I get them maybe once every few months or less, and the size and amount of pus has decreased. Also they are no longer painful. They are never red or noticeable unless I feel for them.
When I squeeze them, the tissue in the infected spot seems to get hard and swollen, but this gradually decreases.
For some reason I’m worried about them now. Help me understand what they are please!
I am not sure, It could just be an over active oil gland that keeps getting infected, but if you are that worried I would suggest that you get in to see a skin specialist.
